Some compare it to New York’s Fifth Avenue, or London’s King’s Road, but for me, no shopping experience compares to Barcelona’s Passeig de Gracia.
This beautiful boulevard is home to the world’s luxury brands, Chanel, Hugo Boss and Hermes, among many others. With Spain’s jewel, Loewe, as a unique exception, with it’s impeccable work in leather. On top of all that the Passeig de Gracia has to offer, is the grand Santa Eulalia, a store that fits in perfectly with it’s high-style and quality surroundings.
The store has come a long way since it started in 1843, in Plaza de la Boqueria, and since then has been increasingly focused on the quality of customer experience, setting high fashion standards for both men and women, and continuing to search and add to its list of luxury brands.
Santa Eulalia re-launches its women’s fashions in 2011 with luxury pret-a-porter from top designers after two years of construction and refurbishment. And to celebrate this, is the most recent addition to the store is the ‘J Brand‘, a Californian firm now presenting its latest collection at an area in Santa Eulalia from the 22nd of january to the 25th of March.
The store, designed by New York architect William Sofield, includes a multi-use pop-up space, a delicatessen/café and an open-air terrace. The store also offers one of the most highly-acclained tailoring services in the country.
